Soft pastels are a favorite medium for many students because they blend so easily and are so forgiving with mistakes. Using a good quality pastel gives wonderful results on quality paper like Canson mi-tientes. Students learn color theory, how important it is to note value changes and many ways to create convincing textures while working on projects of their choice.
This class is open to students ages 8 and up.
